In the area of civil building design, our team has planned and designed Yuxi low-rent apartments, the tallest housing complexes nationwide, Qicai park property, Yunnan Copper times square, urban commercial complexes in Chenggong district, Kunming, Kunming news center building, large buildings like the international gallery of the world horticulture exposition park in Kunming, environmentally friendly rural dwellings of ethnic minorities showing Yunnan special customs.

Professional work

1. Seismic isolation buildings-project of Yuxi low-rent dwellings

This project is located in Yuxi, Yunnan province. The largest building, 90.35m tall, wholly seismically isolated, is among the tallest seismic isolation complexes then. The project had been subject to 1:12.5 seismic simulating tests. After completion, the project is able to stand still after experienced the earthquake of magnitude 8.13 in Tonghai county.

2. Environmentally friendly buildings-study and design of rural residential housing for ethnic minorities

KERI has been worked with Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology and The Nature Conservancy (TNC) over 10 years to conduct multi-layer study on green restoration of traditional residential housing based on green building principle, building design, structure materials and physical environment, energy efficiency, and environmental preservation, achieving good results in many projects.

3. Environmentally friendly buildings-building a vibrant BIM team

Building Information Modeling (BIM) simulates real building information through digital information based on data concerned with building projects. The BIM team consists of more than 20 designers has undertaken BIM navigation for the project of Wenshan happy city of Wenshan Chuangshi property developer.

4. Environmentally friendly buildings-design of Southeast Asia special buildings

Study and design of special buildings have been conducted in Southeast Asian countries such as Myanmar and Cambodia and areas with strong ethnic characteristics of Yunnan, achieving great social benefit.
