1. Digital systems of shaft hoists

Kunming Kehui Electric Co., Ltd. has provided the electrical control system devices for nearly 100 sets of shaft hoists for different enterprises, such as Dahongshan Iron Mine of Yuxi Dahongshan Mining Co., Ltd., Yuxi Mining Co., Ltd., Yunnan Tin Group, Yunnan Copper Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Chuxiong Mining & Metallurgy Co., Ltd. etc., among which the electrical control system of shaft hoist in the west of Dahongshan copper mine has won the third prize of Scientific and Technological Progressin 1999, Yunnan province. Kunming Kehui Electric Co., Ltd. also owns numbers of software patents and software copyright.

2. Electrical control system of belt conveyors

The project of upgrading the 2# mining belt conveyor of Dahongshan copper mine has won the third prize of  “Scientific and Technological Progress” in 2008, Yunnan province.

The electrical transmission control system of belt conveyor of Dahongshan iron mine. The belt conveyor in phase-I Dahongshan iron mine project is the longest belt conveyor system under the shaft in China so far; the belt conveyor system in phase-II Dahongshan iron mine project has adopted the Dupline switches and detectors for the protection of belt conveyor, which are beneficial for production management.

3. Digitization mining operations

3.1 The monitoring and dispatching system of digital mining in Dahongshan Iron Mine of Kunming Steel Group

In 2008, Kunming Kehui Electric Co., Ltd. had built the first set of integrated monitoring and dispatching system. After the completion of the system, and by means of centralized monitoring and unified dispatching, we finally achieved scientific management. The monitoring and dispatching system of digital mining in Dahongshan Iron Mine has won the third prize of “Scientific and Technological Progress” in 2010, Yunnan province.

3.2 The construction of digital mining project in the deep section of Luodang mining area in Lala copper mine of Liangshan Mining Co., Ltd.

The project was designed by Kunming Engineering & Research Institute of Nonferrous Metallurgy Co., Ltd. (KERI), and the system integration was undertaken by Kunming Kehui Electric Co., Ltd. It was the first digital mining project in the fields of nonferrous metal nationwide. The test run of the system was successful at the end of June 2020.

Adopting the advanced network communication technology, a fully integrated automatic control system covering the whole plant and workshop is formed. The system has the function of EIC, and all electrical and instrument can be monitored effectively.

5. On-line monitoring of tailings storage facilities and slope safety

Implement real-time control of the safety status of tailings storage facilities, as well as analysis and evaluation to ensure the safety tailings storage facilities.

The TD safe 2000 safety on-line monitoring system for TSF developed by KERI is combined with remote automatic safety monitoring, analysis, evaluation and forecasting system. The system has won the third prize of “Scientific and Technological Progress” issued by China Nonferrous Metals Association.

Safety on-line monitoring system of Wenzhuang tailings storage facilities of Yunnan Jinding Zinc Industry Co., Ltd.;

Safety on-line monitoring system of Huangcaoping tailings storage facilities of Pingchuan iron mine in Yanyuan county, Sichuan province;

Safety on-line monitoring system of Xiangchong tailings storage facilities for mineral processing test and demonstration zone of heavy metal pollution control in Gejiu City.


6. Remote digital monitoring and control system for high risk industry and enterprises in Yunnan province

The remote digital monitoring system and early warning system, which were researched and developed independently by KERI.

A total of 54 high-risk industry enterprises monitoring data access and provincial emergency management office platform have been completed  have been completed by the remote digital monitoring and control system for high risk industry and enterprises. It has made significant contributions to the improvement of the management of Department of Emergency Management of Yunnan Province, As well as a historic breakthrough for KERI and Kunming Kehui Electric Co., Ltd. on the technology of remote digital monitoring and control.
