The Architecture Engineering Design Department has long been engaged in the design of large and medium-sized complex civil and industrial buildings. It has established a set of management systems and management methods from design quality, design progress to post-design construction service guarantee, and pays special attention to industry integrity and abides by professional ethics. Over the years, it has been well received by development organization, project supervision, construction organization and other relevant social sectors.

The Architectur Engineering Design Department has divisions of architecture, environmental art, planning, structure, water supply and drainage, electrical, HVAC, and geotechnical. The professional setting is complete, the design methods are advanced, the technical force is strong, and the management system is perfect.

In the past 20 years, the Architecture Design Department has undertaken and completed hundreds of high-rise or group civil construction projects. More than 20 architectural engineering designs such as the Kunming Municipal Government Office Building, Kunming News Center Building, Kunming World Horti-Expo Garden International Pavilion, Yinhai Real Estate Company International Apartment (Shuangyin Building), Kunming Boeing ASafety Training Center Building, the green rural Earth Construction in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, and the R&D laboratory building of Kunming Sino-Platinum Metals New Material Industrialization Production Base have won the provincial or ministerial excellent design award.

After several earthquake disasters across the country, the Architecture Design Department actively responded to government calls, combined with its own technical advantages, and dispatched expert teams many times to actively participate in post-seismic identification and post-disaster reconstruction work.

Municipal Engineering Design Department

The Municipal Engineering Design Department has seven divisions: general layout planning, water supply and drainage, thermal energy and power, HVAC engineering, environmental protection, energy conservation, and soil and water conservation.

Technical expertise and main performance

The general layout planning is mainly engaged in the general layout design of industrial enterprises, site selection, waste dump, roads of factories and mines, railway transportation, urban planning, industrial park planning, urban roads, highways, and civil building site design.

The water supply and drainage is mainly engaged in the design of water intake, pipelines, water plants, regional water supply and drainage pipe networks and sewage and wastewater treatment in urban factories and mines.

The thermal energy and power engineering is mainly engaged in the engineering design of thermal power stations, industrial and civil boiler rooms, waste heat resource recycling power stations, and boiler water treatment, pressure pipes, boiler dust removal, desulfurization, and denitrification.

The HVAC engineering is mainly engaged in engineering design of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, dust removal, and cleaning.

The environmental protection is mainly engaged in the metallurgical electromechanical, mining, social area environment impact assessment reports and environment impact report forms, and the preparation of environmental protection chapters in other engineering designs.

The energy conservation mainly focuses on mining and smelting projects, and also performs energy conservation assessment work for various real estate projects. Since 2011, more than 40 energy-saving reports have been compiled, all of which have passed the technical review at one time.

Water and soil conservation is mainly engaged in the water and soil conservation plan preparation, soil and water conservation monitoring, acceptance of roads, railways, airports, hydropower stations, power plants, mines, smelters, slag storage, tailings storage facility, power transmission and transformation, municipal roads, landscape parks, river improvement, real estate, land improvement and other projects, and land reclamation plan preparation, etc. More than 500 projects of various types of water and soil conservation plan preparation and more than 500 consulting engineering contracts have been completed. At the same time, it actively participated in the compilation of specifications for water and soil conservation design guidelines for production and construction projects and technical specifications for water and soil conservation of development and construction projects of the Ministry of Water Resources of the People’s Republic of China; and joined the Chinese Society of Soil and Water Conservation and the Planning Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Soil and Water Conservation as a member.
