Kunming Engineering & Research Institute of Nonferrous Metallurgy Co., Ltd. (KERI) has undertaken Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) projects since 1984. Over nearly thirty years, it completed more than 30 EPC projects with investment amounting to 18 billion yuan, of which 2 billion yuan for fixed price contracts. All projects completed achieved investment, schedule and quality targets. To further standardize and strengthen scientific management of EPC projects, KERI set up the Project Management Company in 2015.

Through long-term practice, the Project Management Company has formed relatively complete management regulations and systems. It is composed of employees specialized mining, mineral processing, smelting, iron and steel industry, environmental protection, civil construction, electricity, general layout and transportation, waterway, tailings, cableway, machining, thermal engineering, ventilation etc. In addition to complete specialties, the company has stored large quantities of design documents and scientific & technical literature, making it powerful technologically. 

    The business of the Project Management Company covers EPC projects of mining, processing and smelting of nonferrous, golden, ferrous, non-metal mines, light industry, chemicals, building materials, industrial and civil buildings, wastes treatment, etc. The company could contract all or part of a construction project, from feasibility study, survey and design, procurement of equipment and materials, construction and installation, and commissioning to putting into production and turnkey operation. It also can undertake the constructions of large- and medium-sized engineering projects in above areas at home and abroad.

Yunnan Jin Ji An Construction Consultation and Supervision Ltd. owned by Kunming Engineering & Research Institute of Nonferrous Metallurgy Co., Ltd. (KERI) was founded in August, 2000 with registered capital of 5m yuan. It is of class-A qualification in building, smelting and mining engineering.

The company has set up complete systems of corporate management and supervision work, and been authorized by ISO9001: 2008 Quality Management System, GB/T28001-2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO14001: 2004 Environmental Management System.

Since the company was started, work in all its supervision contracts has been qualified. Among the projects completed 14 were honored with national and provincial (ministerial)-level excellent projects. In 2009, it was awarded with “making outstanding contribution” during the 15-year undertaking of Yunnan construction supervision by Yunnan Supervision Association. In August 2011, it was honored with 2010 “Go Outside Yunnan” strategic business by Yunnan government.
